Thiadiazoles

Thiadiazole frameworks combine fused aromatic character with a rigid fused core and well-defined heteroaromatic electronics. They are often selected when a program needs a rigid heteroaromatic core with defined vector geometry and tuned electronics. These building blocks are useful in analogue synthesis, scaffold-focused lead optimization, and heteroaromatic discovery.
